CLASSIFIERS SCREW

Screw classifiers also called as Y-Series are preferred to separate ingredients in the soil, clay, and fine materials that are derived from a variety of mines. They are used for dewatering the material which came from vibrating screen with washing. Gür-San offers its screw classifiers as single and double helices according to their capacities.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Materials washed in classifiers is sink to the bottom and thrown out from classifiers with helical leaves that push the material from drain gutters to the outside of classifiers.

Helices are produced from quality sheet metal and covered by rubber for preventing wearing.

These covered rubbers are demountable and changeable.

The angle of the classifiers can be adjustable manually by legs.

GÜRSAN screw classifiers driven by reducer and gear system, are designed for ease of installation, maintenance and operation.

For classifying coarse and abrasive materials, GÜRSAN produces heavy-duty screw classifiers. Helices are produced from 12 mm sheet metal and lined with 12-14 % manganese alloyed steel casting. This type of classifier is known in the literature as a log washer.
